Public Procurement Summit 2022

The Public Procurement Summit 2022, an initiative of Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) to encourage startups to connect with Government Departments scheduled on the 26th of April 2022, 9.30 am at The Mascot Hotel, Trivandrum is conceptualized with a focus on bridging the gap between the vibrant startups and the Government Departments/ organizations.
Public Procurement Summit is bringing together all the departments and Startups who worked together under the programme Government as a Marketplace and also opening up the opportunity that awaits for collaborative engagement. Government as a Marketplace is one of the unique programmes run by KSUM, considered as one of the Best Practices by the State Government, in the State Ranking Framework by Startup India, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
The summit is designed in such a way that the
  • Startup Founder will gain insights about the procurement process, inspiring stories from and one-on-one interaction with the key officials from Govt department
  • Government Departments can understand how easily they can involve a Startup and find a technology solution that eases the process

കേരള സര്‍ക്കാരിന് കീഴിലെ മുഴുവന്‍ വകുപ്പ് തലവന്‍മാര്‍ക്കും പൊതു സംഭരണ ഉച്ചകോടി 2022 ല്‍ പങ്കെടുത്ത് യുവ സംരംഭകരുമായി സംവദിക്കാന്‍ കേരള സ്റ്റാര്‍ട്ടപ്പ് മിഷന്‍ അവസരമൊരുക്കുന്നു.
സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ വകുപ്പുകള്‍ക്കും പൊതുമേഖലാ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങള്‍ക്കും അവരുടെ ആവശ്യങ്ങള്‍ സ്റ്റാര്‍ട്ടപ്പുകളെ ധരിപ്പിച്ച് ഉല്‍പ്പന്നങ്ങളും സേവനങ്ങളും സ്വീകരിക്കാം. സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ വകുപ്പുകളില്‍ കെ എസ് യു എമ്മിന്‍റെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ സ്റ്റാര്‍ട്ടപ്പ് ഇന്നൊവേഷന്‍ സോണുകള്‍ രൂപീകരിക്കാനും ഉച്ചകോടി വഴിതെളിക്കും.

The programmes that will be of interest to you

Demand Day

Need stated by the department and Startup solution against their Problem Statement (identifying the gap between the current state (problem) and desired state (goal) of a process or product)

The Departments will share their requirements which will be circulated among the Startups and they bring up Solutions. The departments can then select a startup that meets the requirements which will be facilitated by KSUM. The Demand Day is an exclusive opportunity given only to startups registered in Kerala to solve existing problems in products or processes faced by the Government.

Demo Day

Demo Day is an exhibition of Hardware/ Software products of startups, to have real conversations with Govt that have been hand-selected by KSUM to interact with participants of the summit.

The Startups will showcase their product which will help departments identify products that are of potential use to them.
